In silence, we sat
Such intence quiet..
All of Heavens Angels hushed....
If I had mused long enough
away from my selfish feelings
Had taken time or inclination
to the destruction in my wake....
Surely that heart who has been so wounded,
so deeply pierced by loves betrayal.
She would forgive me?...
Willingly I take this blade to my heart.
Do I deserve any less?
Her words caress my heart...
"I forgive you......"
Author notes
Sometimes we do things that we dont intentionally mean to do.. And sometimes there is a point at which we feel there would be no return.. except for three words.. I forgive you...So I dedicate this poem to the lady who is my soulmate who has forgiven me...

A beautiful write, quite haunting in fact. Yes, those words can be important to hear and important and difficult to say.
