Oh dear Paula, my love and life,
I must declare to you the truth and strife.
Where you are and where we are to be,
Is a distant reality
One so far away so fragile
That it is for you like walking a mile.

This thing so true
More powerful than I love you
I give you the truth
That we will always have our youth
But the time is now and that was then
