i depart down life's exhausting journey,
i shall go wherever the road takes me,
i have golden memories fixed in globes,
instabilities in my wondrous mind.
meekly i seek the next memorable episode,
of a life worth living,
i wonder which melodies,
will capture my soul in the future life.
powerless to control my destiny,
i shall carry my pride with me in a silver holdall,
one that will equip me for the trials ahead,
life is polished and i have experience to match finely.
i shall study my surroundings,
as i drift through life's
thrills and spills,
but most of all i believe in you.

Great take on prompt and use of imagery! I like the message very much also. I particularly like the phrase, "I shall carry my pride in a silver holdall." The only thing that confused me was the last line --you believe in self or does it refer to someone else?
