      Got that the wrong way round: should be:

      Suffering is when the masochist says "whip me, whip me, please whip me" to the sadist, and the sadist says "no". Blimey.

        lol... i was thinking more that suffering makes people grow, developing their strength and character. lol... see what i mean? pondering can bring all sorts of meanings

      I might have said: "Suffering is inversely proportionate to wealth."

      or: Suffering is when a sadist says "whip me, whip me, please whip me" to a masochist, and the masochist says "no".
