I'm going to ramble on,
sing my song - talk of
things I only think of
to myself, like -
What did that voice
mean that perhaps
I was being prepared
to be a housewife?
Must I really get stuck
at a job, a park aide,
cleaning cabins and
bathrooms and things?
Should I get a jar of
buttons to set upon
my floating shelf for
decoration or not?
What am I going to do
with the six bears I
bought these past
four days on eBay?
Should I really send one
to Jamie after all the
trouble I caused him?
Maybe for his birthday...
Maybe by mid-May he'll
have forgiven me and
I'll have found a better
job than being a park aide.
Will I catch a fish this
summer, trout or bass?
Will I catch the flu from
my sister I'm visiting,
Whose house tomorrow
I'm going to visit and help
with the babies and
cleaning and things?
God says He's got good
plans for my future, plans
of prosperity - but does
that mean I get married?
Mundane, Preordained -
something's going on and
He won't tell me!!!! Such
is life, they say - oh, joy.

The beauty of life is that we don't know all the answers and the most mundane job is important, too, and you never really know where it will lead you, who you will meet. We are not privy to the masters plans. This poem is full of the questions surrounding life and life is full of surprises.

So many questions. Sounds like a lot of fun your life is... traveling... visiting... having fun. This write flows very well considering all the questions you were asking. Thanks for sharing this with us.
