Poet's Pride

You never know just what you'll find
In the darkest corners of my troubled mind.
I write with feeling from my heart and soul.
To make you feel the intensity of my writing is my only goal.

Sometimes my poems will make you happy,
others times they'll make you sad.
Occasionally they are silly meant to make you laugh,
or maybe written in remembrance of a loved one to make you miss your mom or dad.

In one poem I may be a war monger,
rattling sabers to get you mad.
Then in the next one talk about flag draped coffins that make you cry because your sad.

And everyone likes my love poems, because they make them feel all warm and fuzzy deep down inside.
But one thing I guarantee is you will feel emotion
when you read my poems for to me it is a matter of pride.
