I have hidden my tracks, away, well;
scrubbed my path clean of evidence,
turn signs around so I am not easy to trace
and, yet,
behind me flows a great gray ribbon of One Way
that could lead you straight to me.

Very nice point of view here, on this prompt. I love it, thank you.

No matter how you play it, there is no one without a past. You lead the reader back to look at themselves and we all know the reflection is backwards. Love the permutations of thought possible out of this one. Tip of the cap to ye.
