I feel...

L ame in the way that life shot me in the face and in revenge I shot myself in the foot,
O utstanding in the way that I'm living despite two bullet wounds,
U n-calloused even though I feel that I've been roughed as of late,
S ecure although I struggle to pay anything, and
Y earning for a break from reality; a day over these rivers of saline I've spilt.

    Lame is a good word. It's hardly ever used in this context as much as it should be.
