Fundamental Equations

I must confess, when I see you
Numbers and symbols fill my head
And cloud my mind, distracting and diverting
As I try to write the perfect equation.
As of now, all I can think of is
You +me=lots of fun.
If you’d let me test my theory,
I’d quadraticize you until you couldn’t breathe;
I’d invert the matrix of my mind for you, and
If we came out equal
We’d know we could function together.
Maybe our system of equations will help us find
The missing variable.
Just plug it in
And suddenly it all makes sense.
What once threw us into a flurry of confusion
Is finally made clear.
As long as we don’t overlook our
Order of operations,
We should find the truth,
And finally have all of the variables necessary
To form our very own equation.

What did you think

Never has math seemed so spicy...

All I can derive from this mess of mastication of mathematics and romance is a sticky glaze of calculations and cunning linguistics..
Congratulations on the success of weaving so unlike parts of the logical and emotional together, this really does factor nicely and leaves no remainder...
