We shall no more stick together, than be pressed and hollowed out
and I'm sorry that you will never see the difference between the two.
We no longer can wait forever,
it is bad for our health
& I promise you I wont forget us
but soliloquy's are more my rhyme.
I wont sit on this cloud and wait,
til you gallop on horse and weave sighs,
as you dedicate undying love
I can tell you now, it wont work this time.
You'll take moving on with pity
& I'll try my best not to sob to our song,
but promises are made to be broken
just like dreams -
just like us.

i like it. poignant. 3 was a little weak and overplayed, but the rest of it has a real heart to it.

I like how the pain shows in this piece as being more reflective than raw, shows a great insight into the thoughts and emotion whilst at the same time not overwhelming the reader with the pain (if that makes sense? ).
Good write.
