Whats supposed to be a fairytale
Only turns out to be a sad story
With never ending emotional pain
How much longer will it last?
Where when youre near your words
Manage to hurt me even more than
When you break my heart
And are far away.
They say ‘Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But words will never hurt me’
That only applies in childhood
Where the meanest thing said
Was ‘Youre stupid’ or ‘Dumb’
But you know the words
That tear me apart
Everyday just drives us apart
Every fight doesn’t have the
‘Making up’
Where life with you now is
Routine- nothing more than that
I don’t know what more
Can be done to save us.
