Cigarettes

Poison to the heart,
Poison to the skin,
Poison so addicting,
I'm afraid I cannot win

Enough poison
To kill a man,
Yet it's hard to resist
It's calling in my head.

Cigarettes are love,
Cigarettes are pain,
Cigarettes will be
The death of me.

"Just one more" I say.
I need to feel the poison
Corroding through my veins;
I am so ashamed
