Living to Die with You

I was bad and you were sad. I was gone and you were alone.  Time has come and time has gone.  First a home, then a Pom.  Thoughts of Job loss, thoughts of change.  Then come a child and still more pain.  Never seeing you, never knowing you, never hearing what it would be like to know your dreams.  Desires, destinations or fires.  Sing now the everlasting breathe, the kiss that gave my heart away.  Stolen, taken, behind a text of lies.  My friends, my associates, the flies.  She gave away enough, and my friend took what he could, should, would.  No, No, your place in my life a grave.  Dead are my feelings, anxiety my new friend, lend down the angels that can help me sleep at night.

Embrace my faults, my corruption.  See them all replay on a daily basis, space is without limits.  I have so much to make up for, so little time in line for the fine I am about to pay.  So you'll stay, away but with me as you see for I love you.  For I knew not what I had, am glad that you will be the last face along with my children that I will see, when it be my time to say good-bye.  Don't try, or else why.  Grow with me in harmony as the grass returns all summer long.  Know I'm right out side the walls of your heart begging to come back in, no more sin.  You've let God go, don't know when you'll find him again.  I've talked with him, walked with him and we know your pain.  We know the constant struggle.

You are physically home, you are spiritually alone.  You are caring for the kids, with your lids shut on your eyes.  Come home to us, come home to me.

Author notes

Find the importance of your special one in your life and never let it go, for if you do not tend to them, it will stray!
