You died, just a few years ago.
And even though you're gone,
I'm still madly in love.
Your corpse is rotting,
I'm still... Breathing.
You're death, is driving me insane,
And all I can think about
Is what love is like after death.
When I die, you'll be mine again.
Our rotting body's, can intertwine.
You can kiss my lips,
And feel for my ribs,
Search for my heart, but that's long gone.
Maggots, eating our flesh.
We are in love, and soon,
We'll just be a pile of bones.
Try to kiss me, even though there's no flesh.
I want to feel your touch,
Even though the bone is so cold.
In the ground, together we'll rot.
In the ground, together we'll love,
And live once more.
This isn't over because we're gone,
This love has just begun.
Love, after death, I wonder.
Do you still think of me,
As I think of you?

interesting take on the prompt.... got a little bit more descriptive than I liked by the use of maggots but then that's just me. I think you were very creative with this write and it definitely went with the picture. Good write good job thanks for sharing this with us. And thanks for entering this into my contest.
