Lunch, and Reflecting on Life at the Farmers Market

Capture fleeting moments with
      sadly misshapen words;
It is an effort that tickles my muse,
      but not my fancy.
In my musical isolation,
      humanity trickles through

Laughs,
  Tantrums,
Living this brief second in eternity

A bubble-gum blue ice cream
catches my eye
The child looks at me and grabs his mothers hand

Gone: Down isles of niceties

He looks back- Fredrico of Fredricos' Deli
Kind eyes
    Gray hair
        Big ears
Everything you could ever want in a grandpa -
Customers arrive, and he turns away.

My life is moving on...

Very dwelling. I liked it. The reflection was appealing, and made me smile. I guess, when you look back on your happiest memories, you-for me- get this feeling of longing in your stomach, and silently say to yourself, "Can I have another day like that?" I like this poem a lot. It was just so well composed. I enjoy your poems.

    ~With all due respect,

  • Oooo, I like this reflection on life, it is so well done and so uniquely composed; I like the way it gently tells of yourself as you reflect upon others in the journey of time.
