My Promise

i have waited for you for my entire exsistance
even before i knew you, i waited for you
and now that i am with you, i will never leave you
the sun should not dare to do justice
to the warmth you excite inside of my heart
each time my eyes meet your inviting gaze
the pull towards you is intoxicating
as if i bare no choice but to follow
never hesitant to follow you where you lead
i am bound to you by undying will and force
should you ever leave, i will wait again
for you to return back to me, more than forgiving
because i choose this path with you, guided by faith
that you will remain by my side as i do yours
brought together by our own will, and unknown force
