Heart of Darkness

An interminable waterway,
welded,
luminous estuary,
sharply peaked.

Vanished spirits,
red clusters of canvas,
resembled an idol,
ascetic aspect.

Joint,
mournful gloom,
brooding motionless,
convictions.

Virtues,
cross-legged,
complexion,
toying architecturally with the bones.
