At Last

[Verse 1]
Every day
I see you smile at me
I feel the world begin to spin
And somehow I can't breathe
I can only dream
Of the day I'll be with you
Impossible, improbable
But please let it come true

[Bridge]
You act as though you might feel the same way
And then you flip a switch and simply walk away

[Chorus]
I'm falling in love with you
Every single moment
Falling in love with you
And I don't know how to stop
I'll be falling in love with you
So hard, so fast
Till the day you'll catch me at last

[Verse 2]
I can't decide
If I want to take a chance
Would you blow me off and shun me
Or would you ask me to a dance
Can you tell that I
Never want to leave your side
Am I just some silly girl to you
Or did our hearts collide

[Bridge]
I can't tell if you feel something for me
But someday I guess we will have to see

[Ending chorus]
'Cause I'm falling in love with you
Every single moment
Falling in love with you
And I don't know how to stop
Falling in love with you
So hard, so fast
I'm falling in love with you
Every single moment
Falling in love with you
And I don't know how to stop
And I'll be falling in love with you
So hard, so fast
So hard, so fast
Till the day you'll catch me at last
Will you dare to catch me at last

    Hmmm

Well this one is a bit too corny for my liking, but I can't fault the way you try and get the message across with your use of repetitions!

Personally, I wouldn't use the well worn out metaphors that are commonly associated with falling in love, like "oh I'm falling in love so hard". I'm always on the lookout for a different, unique way of describing what I feel.

From a guy's point of view, I'm having a little trouble connecting with it, because maybe you're writing for a female audience that can identify with what it's like for a girl to fall in love.

It's a descriptive poem, well written, with the emotion associated with love well intertwined throughout. But it's just not my cup of tea to be frank.

I hope another person can give you a better critique! Thanks for sharing!
