born again in spring

Thanks. I'll have to be over to check out your poems some time as you've been so generous with your wonderful comments.

Well, I was responding to the original edit, so I stand by my comment. And the concept of babies being hanged isn't a product of an indecent mind. "Little leaves" can understandably be associated with children. "Noose" is self-explanatory. My first impression of the poem involved automatically linking those two concepts. It's not an awfully tough thing to grasp.
Now that the picture is up, I think the subject has significant potential for expansion. Is there any metaphorical meaning to your noose/leaves? -
Is this supposed to be a haiku? I was under the impression that the standard verse structure was 5-7-5.
Other than that, the poem is nice, although the pairing of "little leaves" and "noose" conjures up the image of babies being hanged for me. -

it is a haiku...
it is not my problem if you think of hanging babies, what an indecent mind you have. Maybe if you gave me a second to edit before you commented you'd see it was inspired by a picture.
