Forever Friends

Best friends forever
Sisters for life
Until the end
We will be friends

Sleepover turned serious
Giggles hushed inside
"Abby, will you die the same time as I?"
"Pinkie promise, friends forever", I said

-------------------------------------------------

Weeks have passed
Memories had been made
The ear-splitting ring
Shatters my ears

Jjay is in tears
"I'm out of the closet"
I grip the phone tighter
"Just stay with me", I say

Colors swirl past my eyes
She re-tells her story
The things people said
The laughter

Her mom hates her
Her classmates hate her
Her friends hate her
I love her though

Unbearble pain
How can I heal it?
What can I do
I am just one person

She rants on
How easy it'd be to die
A knife maybe
Or the rope beside her bed

No one would ever know
No one would ever care
A tear rolls down my cheek
She is so clueless

I take a deep breath
This is my one chance
I just can't lose her
I'd be lost without her

So, I tell her
How without her I'd be dead
She helped me
More than she knows

That one day she wasn't at school
I cried my eyes out
And thought of suicide
For the first time in so long

"Sorry", she whispers
I need you to be alive
I need you here with me
Please, don't leave

That one moment of silence
All heard was our joined weeping
A stronger force held onto me there
As I whispered, "I have to die when you do, remember?"

Author notes

#78 Stanza 5-10
When the time is right, we'll sink
To the bottom, long forgotten

Don't think twice, don't come back for me

'Cause I won't be there
No, I won't be there
And I hope you take this lightly

----------------------

This actually did happen. A week or two ago. Jjay is okay, thank god. [:
I just kind of vented everything that happened. Everything I said did happen. I didn't make any bit of up.
