I sit down, put pen to paper
but nothing seems to come to mind
Lately it just feels like somethings missing
There's a muse out there I can't find
It's been like this for weeks now
since the last time I saw your face
Now I'm all turned around
I can't get out of this place
There's a love song in my heart
But I've got no one to sing it to
So I'll just sing it to the heavens
until my face turns blue
There's a love song in my heart
But no one to hear me sing it out loud
So I'll just sing it to the heavens
until my lungs give out
I don't think I can go much longer
living my life like this
getting rushed by the memories
and remembering how it was bliss
So if you've got love in your heart
and a voice full of glee
Stand up, sing it out
and sing to the heavens with me
There's a love song in my heart
But I've got no one to sing it to
So I'll just sing it to the heavens
until I find some one to sing it to
There's a love song in my heart
But no one to hear me sing it out loud
So I'll just sing it to the heavens
and hope I draw a crowd
Please tell me what you think

An interesting juxtaposition to the stereotype of keeping all emotion bottled up. I like the fact that even though you can't sing to anyone in particular you can still sing. I thought this poem was very powerful.
