The Words

Where did the words go?

Words that use to flow

so easily, so freely.

Now hiding in my mind,

impossible to find.

Did I leave them all behind

as I moved through life,

overcome with strife?

Words that helped me through

everything I had to do,

now do not exist.

I miss them so.

    I love the sentiment in this poem, Paulla. I think you are a very gifted poet, though this is only the first I've read of yours. I shall read more soon. I love the way you wrote it and the way you made it flow was great, too... I think the meaning was good and means a lot to a lot of people. I hope you continue writing such meaningful and beautiful poetry.

I would be honored if you were able to read more of my poetry, though I do admit that the last couple of years have been very difficult for me, poetically all so. You will see a great change in my writing from before 2007 and after. thank you once again.

    A very real feeling for many. A question so hard to answer, why sometimes the words of wisdom and healing flood us and others a desert. This brings tose feelings out as to where we are at the moment.
