The sunny day at Shakori Hills was wasted with thoughts of you,
All my friends and even enemies can't take away your presence in my mind.
Everytime I hear Jerry Garcia's guitar my heart skipped a beat,
Now I just want to move on, because I deserve better than head games.

all that really happened w him is that he said he needed time to sort things out and i take things to personally, but i figured writing something about would make me forget?

This is a really good poem - like Julie said below, writing is a great way to express emotions and you have done that very well here
I think from a constructive criticism point you might like to look at adding in some more personal details so that you can make the reader feel the same things as you are - but that is just my opinion and I enjoyed this poem!
