Lost inside putrid pain
crucifiying self for past sins
hiding tormented torture
of inner self mutilation
her mother never knew
father left many moons ago
she left fending alienated
an invisible straight jacket
her daily worn attire
protecting her emotions
from further abscess of man
though her agony self inflicted
her words never spoken
a prisoner she became
the key lost in her mind
never a chance to escape
