Everyday Play

Melodies of voices
Playing quickly in my head
A Capella all around me

Choking up the world, reeling

Hallways, echoing

Sticky sounds of screaming

Sixteenth notes

In three-four

There are people playing others

Acting as if they aren't themselves

Painting on faces

Lying to even them self

Watch the play unfold

A morbid little piece

But the dialect is hard to understand

Is this world of mine confusing you?

Can you guess what I'm tlaking about?

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

  • hm, sounds like you're talking about an orchestra but I am probably wrong. I hope you tell me, I'm curious now
