Attached to her lifeline, she stirs
Through the night, still awake
As she wonders
When time will come to make,
a clean escape
Maybe soon she'll be freed from the shame
That keeps her so awake
Still wondering
Evil lurks
The pain inside,
now crawls beneath fingernails
The pills will keep coming,
as long as someone's there to watch her squirm
But home alone now,
no one breaths beside her
The culprit lurks
Inside a mind that still burns
They watch but they aren't as alive as her
The voices are released
But it's the trigger that awaits
The tension that breaks all peace
