Wretched souls, no repentance,
allowing Satan's evil to lurk.
Exposing to view his intentions,
you deny me, I falter, I fail.
Fallen from grace, he awaits me,
weak, I agree to his bidding.
In his light, I now reside,
reaping your souls in death.
Yet on bended knee,in darkness
I pray, Dear Lord, save my soul!

There is always hope even in the darkness...choices made can not be changed but anything can be fixed.
Lovely as always!

It just makes me wonder...if you believe in it, and you seek it, maybe it's never too late to find your way from darkness to light.

What a wonderful read, it goes to show that even in the darkest times there is always a light.
Well done and thankyou so much for your kind words on my poem.
Love and light.

Even doing the Devils work, one keeps their eyes to the Light. Nicely done and many thanks for entering into the contest.
Be well and be blessed.

Terrific take on the image prompt. Sadness and desperation is felt deeply by the end of the poem. The ending is perfect.
