Ladies and the rest of you,
let me ask this test of you,
to see if there's a best of you,
or only what I guessed of you.
Are there ideas instilled in you,
are hopes and dreams fulfilled in you,
have all the rules been drilled in you,
and have they killed the will in you.
The future cannot fight for you,
or set the wrong and right for you,
that's how you know the plights for you,
the road ahead is bright for you.
So show them what is real by you,
and let the world be healed by you,
let Freedom set her seal by you,
and Nations set ideals by you.
Get out and vote!

Actually, whether it's our right to bear arms, our right to hunt for food when we're hungry, or yes, our right to get high when, where and how we see fit (which I thought was pretty much covered by the whole "pursuit of happiness" bit) everything requires the voice of the people. If you don't use your voice, you've no right to complain when it's not heard.
