the strength of nature’s surprise comes with
heaven's breath blown over a lover's shoulders –
dirt-worthy metaphors crawling up exhaustion's neck,
and I just lie here waiting for the next storm to bring you back...

It never ceases to amaze me how sensual and romantic nature can be....
"heaven's breath blown over a lover's shoulders"...
that, my friend, is beautiful.

"heaven's breath blown over a lover's shoulder's" very sweet , passionate feel to this. Only a wordsmith can fashion this intricate labyrinth of words. Tecohe

i like this..

-
nature is the best metaphor for life, for love...that is why we always return to nature, to the nature of love. I liked this, not only because i love stormy weather, but for the gentle breeze blowing off this page.

Born of a simpler Ashcockian moment? For the sake of bearing my ignorance to the masses, what, pray tell is that?
Ignorance aside, I like the way this flows and the images it inspires even in all of its brevity.
