she wonders what did i do,
how can i change,
make people like me,
i lost my old best friend,
she's long gone,
the person i trusted with everything,
heart and soul,

her mind races thinking all these thoughts,
feeling bad,
she run out,
into the darkness,
it surrounds her,
making her gasp for air,
she run harder,
but it wont leave her alone,
all the memories are still there,
friends to enemies,
parents not caring,

what can i do she thinks,
how can i forget all thats happened,
all that makes me who i am,
her parents hate eachother bring her into the fight,
making her choose sides,
that so isnt right,
her heart says to stay,
be a big kid about it,
but her head is saying get out
before its too late,

she slows at bench,
still thinking about everything,
she see a boy,
running,
he stops,
they stare,
he smiles,
she turns thinking what the hell,
who is this boy,
he smiles wider and tells her everything is going to be alright,
but can she believe him?
she doesnt know,
all she knows is he's the same.
