The world doesn't stop when your heart does,
It just keeps spinning as you sit there breaking.
You can ask for the worlds attention,
But in the end your just another face.
The world doesn't start caring when you lose faith,
It just starts seeing another statistic on the map.
You could change the lives of everyone,
But your not willing to take it that far.
The world doesn't see you as you look for the answers,
It justs watches as you fuck up your life.
You keep changing as you take wrong turns,
But your never pointed in the right direction.
The world doesn't try to heal you as you shatter,
It just steps over you like a puddle in Manhatten.
Your about to evaporate into the clouds,
But no one else even takes notice.
The world doesn't stop and stare as you jump,
It just gives you a landing that feels like euphoria.
You could've changed the faces of the few on the streets,
But how many know your story?
