Nightmares

Have you ever felt like you couldn't wake up from a horrible dream,
I have,
I cried,
I screamed,
I did everything I could do to wake up,
but nothing works,
sometimes nightmares can lock you in,
never let you out,
until you beg mercy,
until you give in,
I keep pushing,
never giving up,
until the nightmare is tired of me
