Pr 9:10 The fear [awe] of YAH is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [pure] is understanding.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
2 The same was in the beginning with Elohim.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. {comprehended: or, did not admit, or, receive}
Heb 1:10 And, Thou, Master, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but Thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but Thou art the same, and Thy years shall not fail.

  • A good strong acrostic, although aiming it at an ignoble judge may be unwise

    Of course, in a sense, nescience is essential for a scientist. It is because we don't know that we have to go out and look!

    Good poem

    Jeff

    • Oh no!

      Are you saying you're an ignoble judge? Scientists who know they don't know I have no problem with. I love the 'art' of inquiry. Those who think they know in advance of having all the facts at hand are dangerous! Glad you liked this. Acrostics are among my fav form.

      • Of course that is the problem most scientists have with religions, they know in advance

    Very well done. And, you actually made me look up a word! [nescience] And, btw, I think that works with both the definitions of it in that line. Strong acrostic!

      you love to learn new words? I knew this word & when I went to check on it's definition to make sure it was the exact meaning I was intending ~ my Word Dictionary couldn't find it & I thought I was going daft! I finally found it in another source & yes, is fitting in that line in both senses. That's the amazing thing about being an inspired writer. Very often I'm inspired to use a word that I've not used in a long time & am not even sure of it anymore & when I check against my doubt I'm amazed at how appropriate it is! You see...I'm a scribe... I write what I 'hear' [I don't hear voices] ~ words come to me in the 'voice' of my mind & I know it's not me prompting the words...it's beyond my thinking & 'coming' to me. The whole process is a wondrous teaching & learning process for me. Thanks for finding your way here & for your comments!

  • sometimes religon and science do not mix well yet some scientist are finding that the unexplained is more heavenly than earthly great job with this one my dear
    as always love the rev papa

      Scientists have always been Creationists ...acknowledging The Creator & His Majestic work & law of the universe. Thanks for reading & your comment Bill.
