You could never be "no more". Your words swell my heart, knowing that I for one have been afar off. Even in those away moments, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your poetry always leaves me to ponder.

Oh, those fragments...so precious-thanks for reminding me

Fragmented ...
the heart cannot translate thoughts into their core meanings.
You wrote such a very intriguing poem here, Richard! I hope all is well.

1st impression? Identity is at its clearest when conveyed by action rather than vocabulary.

Intriguing
This piece brought back memories of the final days of my marriage....when we could not connect with one another anymore through words....when they became sounds that were too brittle to bear weight. It took me back to a time when I felt alone in the middle of a conversation....disconnected despite the fact that we were bound together by strings of syllables. I can't say what inspired this in you, my friend...only what it inspired in me. But, for that, I can thank you.

This is so beautiful, Richard... Thinking of you today and sending you warm springtime thoughts.
