Every time I watch the sunset,
I feel something slip away,
as I think of you.
Remember when we laughed all night,
Because we were living on beer and cocaine?
Remember when we watched the sunrise,
and our bodies ached to the bones?
Every night I think of my desire for you,
and I hate us both again.
I remember the feel of your calloused hands,
against my pale skin,
and I wonder what it is,
that makes you my addiction.
I won't forget the nights,
I spent wishing for you.
And I won't forget the nights,
I spent hating you.
And I wonder,
years from now,
when we're nothing but dust...
will anyone remember our horror story?
