Honest Garbage

Pining is gonna last
'cause it's only been
three frickin' days and
I miss you so bad.
Weeks gone by in minutes
every hour has you sitting in it.
Knees gone wobbly at the legs;
can't even get my wording straight.
Got some type of irregular disease
working the, fighting the,
still trialling my plead.
You can come, break down,

waiting for, searching for
one more reason, an answer to why you care.

Silence on the drive home,
Not alone, never alone,
'cause I've got your smile
sitting with me
even just for this little while.

FOUR days and counting,
time's like broken glass
smashed bottle against the moving floor
left to lie and damp.
Hearts a bleeding, tearing shame
my last goodbye felt so grey
and the look on your face as you left the door...
Shows me that you'll come back once more...

I saw it coming, I won't lie,
pressures rising, I'm blushing...

Fifth day in pieces.
