You are he whom God created for a purpose. He will never forsake you.
If it is your time to go to Him, he will gather you up
in his all-enfolding arms, and lovingly welcome you home.
Yet there is also a home here on this Earth,
where those who love you dearly wish you to stay
for yet awhile longer. God is with you here as well.
Do you wish to stay here, Liam? Do you wish to remain here for awhile yet?
All of eternity waits for you on the other side.
On this side are the loved ones who remain, praying for your healing.
They long for the special presence you have brought to their lives to continue.
God is with you here as well, Liam. As He promised, He will never forsake you.
It is your choice, Liam. Do you wish to fight for this?
If so: fight! Do not yield! Make your will known.
In the strength of your conviction, even the angels will bow before you
and let you pass. For you ARE the child of God, Liam, and for you
they must listen.
Author notes
Corey~
As you quoted, so will I:
Isaiah 41:10 Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
This message from Isaiah is for you as much as it is for Liam.
We cannot know all of what is to happen in our lives, or when our deaths are to occur. In spite of all the time humanity has studied and pondered upon this matter, nothing is definitive. Yet faith can hold us in good stead. And what I said to Liam is true for you as well (as it is for each of us).
In my personal experience, I have found that there are times when God or the universe or whatever it is listens, and that our futures are formed in part by our willingness and choice to stand up and powerfully state from the depths of our being what we want. Do you remember the story of Job? He basically told God off, said "this ain't right, dude," and God capitulated. This may or may not be one of those times when your "demands" upon God will be granted. Yet I have learned one other powerful lesson as well: "you don't ask, you don't get." While not always literally true (you can get without asking; you can ask and not get), asking certainly increases your chances of getting.
So when you pray, do it in your own way. If it works for you to ask for specifics, ask! If it works for you to ask for the greatest good for all, do that! If the prayer comes from your heart, IT WILL ALWAYS BE HEARD. ALWAYS. It may not always be answered in the manner in which we could wish. That part, however, is not up to us. God is with you, and if you put your faith in Him, he will share His strength with you through whatever unfolds.
God bless,
