Toward serenity

2,370 miles to go, before we reach
the place of beginning
where they told us we should go
to find peace for sins of the past
To seek forgiveness for what we've done
How we have sought this for ages
The journey has been a long one
they said we'd probably never make it
long do we still have to travel
high are our hopes
for the journey is worth it
to find serenity
no distance is too far

    I like those last two lines:
    to find serenity
    no distance is too far

    They definitely make for a powerful ending.
