I sit alone again
The tears stream down my face
Onto my knees pulled up to my chin
As I hold back the noisy sobs
All from a song that reminds me
Of my heart breaking
Burning in my chest with a hollow ache
Why can't I be what you need?
Do you want a new improved version of me?
I broke in two over you
Each piece of me died
Bleached and blinded by these nights
Where I was tossing and tortured til dawn

The red drained from my face from the shock

Some heartbreaks never fully heal....and one of mine got ripped open tonight after listening to a song by Autumn to Ashes...it's called Autumn's Monologue.
