An Eternal Fire

The hesitation is none,
the heart is a flutter.
You stand there,
a secret no one must know.

Your embrace magic,
something I have never felt.
Your first touch
and my head is spinning.

Your lips connect with mine
and sparks fly.
An eternal fire never to extinguish,
the start of it all.

The cold night suddenly forgotten,
in it's place a lasting memory.
Connected from the soul,
a love never to falter.

A moment becomes a century,
and simple lust becomes everlasting love.

    I love the way you penned this and it is a story of true beginings full of hope and how a simple spark can grow into an eternal flame.

    "Your lips connect with mine
    and sparks fly.
    An eternal fire never to extinguish,
    the start of it all."

    These lines jumped off the canvas and have given me something to ponder for love is always present yet so poorly expressed.

    I like it, I like it so!
