A Single Moment

One moment,
can mean the rest of your life,
can happen even before you realize it has passed,
and can make you dream for something better.

It's that moment,
that makes you wish for more,
for time to stop,
and for just one more chance.

It can never be recreated,
it can never be altered,
for that moment was perfect,
just the way it was suppose to be.

One moment can sweep you away,
to a dream world,
to somewhere you can only imagine.

It's that one moment that counts,
that one chance to make everything perfect,
but atlas what will be will be
you have no effect,
no real understanding.

You live your life moment to moment
and most, you can not even comprehend.
You walk around with your eyes closed
but in a single moment everything can change.

Finally, you open our eyes
and realize that you let the moment
pass you by, never to be repeated.
