I could very well give a very deep answer to this one as it somehow takes me some where beyond this time. I love the wording, how it seemed to be sitting waiting to make its move. To bridge the void....Is this the soul passing on or the soul returning once more as all souls do. Loved it.

'tis a fine interpretation, for it may reflect your own thoughts on life. Each of us are very unique individuals. I believe there can be multiple interpretations even to the most simple of poems.

I can't imagine
what you saw at the park that would prompt this write...or...were you just reacting to the background noise?
Are you calling the lost souls to awaken? Are you calling awakened souls to make themselves known?
Are you listening for the misic of performers past?
these are my thoughts, reading this peice.

A most intriguing set of comments, and questions. At this peresent date, I really don't remember what inspired this write.
After all, I wrote it in 2006. Freeway park, is built over a freeway, and near the center of downtown Seattle, so perhaps the answer to the first question is yes. As far as the other three questions go, possibly all of the above. Thanks for your comments; question, and applause. I do appreciate them.
