As I.......
Am hanging from this tree,
With a noose tied around my neck.
Sorrow builds up within me,
But I have no regrets.
I think of......
The loved that we shared,
Between each other.
Your actions showed that you cared,
You were more than my lover.
You were the apple of my eye.
I treated you with the utmost respect.
A secret love that you parents would deny.
If they were ever to expect.
Thoughts constantly replays in my mind.
Long nights in my arms, you I held.
Lovers in soul, not bound by the times.
So together in love we both fell.
I remember.......
The day I proposed to you.
So nervous I was that I started to shake.
You looked at me and said "I do."
Though others said "It was a mistake."
And that night brought on great temptation.
Which neither of us could hide.
Great love making, then later contemplating.
I held the fear of our love deep inside.
Later on we......
Found out we were about to have child.
So proud were the both of us.
Even though your face had a smile.
Your family seen this as a betrayal of trust.
So now as I am.......
Dying here suspended in the air.
I watch you reach out your hands for me.
Saying "Don't worry love, the afterlife I will meet you there."
As blood splatters and tears is all that I see.
To be shot in the heart without cupids bow.
But by your family dealt my heart a fatal wound.
For even without being hung now, one thing I do know.
Is without you I was still destined for doom.
Today was suppose to be the day that we wed.
Not a day that our love would be sacrificed.
"I love you" was the last thing to me that you said.
I love you too and with my last breath, see you in the next life.
Slip to death together my wife and I.
