In the midst of winter nights,
Beneath the cold frozen lights.
After the moon has begun to shine,
If you close your eyes, I'll close mine.
When the star dust floats down,
And settles over the sleepy town;
When the sun has no more light,
That's when I'll say good night.
And if you dream, dream for me.
And if I dream, I'll dream for you.
And when sleep is what we lust,
Close your eyes, let our love rust
Together until the sun comes out,
Tomorrow, remember what it's all about.
And the process will repeat,
Until, again, the sun and earth meet.
And if you dream, dream for me.
And if I dream, I'll dream for you.

good
I don't know why, but the simplicity in
"And if you dream, dream for me.
And if I dream, I'll dream for you."
really effected me. Well done, it's a great poem! -
oh absolutely loved this one...oh my you get my applause...this was really good...i love rhyme and this rhymed very well...and i loved the poem...goes back to figure it out specifically(hopefully correctly)...hmm it all seems like just typical love but the lusting for sleep line throws me...and wanting to dream...so i guess long distance love? possibly internet relationship?...otherwise just love...and GREATness hehe

2 old applause
