Brown and Putin both have a certain air,
like a flea and a louse, how to begin to compare?
It is, it seems, our unfortunate fate
to live in a world ruled by the seventh-rate.
I'd never have said this at the Cold War's height,
but now it's undeniable: Pravda is right.
Britain is run by the sleazy and bent
Brown's approval rate is 28 per cent.
Putin's also a smelly piece of poo.
but I think his days are numbered too.
Where do we look with any sort of hope?
The KGB ex-torturer or the Cyclopean Scottish dope?
Putin's a patriot at least, unlike Brown
but for God's sake let's see them both go down!

Yes, choosing between them in the difficult bit -

Remember the legacy of Thatcher or Stolypin
Get rid of the vile creatures! Let some daylight in!
Both countries deserve a better day.
Let these two be simply flushed away.

Somedays politician's of today seem like tiny sparks compared to the Iron Lady or Kennedy - they all seem so empty. A very entertaining piece - with only one hiccup, in the first stanza -" ...a flea and a louse, how to begin to compare?" I found the ending took something away, like it didn't fit - how do they compare?...something like that, or what ever you feel is right. Excellent write!

It is ashame the heads of the countries that are suppose to be leaders in the world are idiots with an agenda. You can add Obama to that list to. They are bringing these nations that were once a mighty force down to third world status. I hope enough people wake up soon to this New World Order crap that has had an agenda for many years to do just that.
