Sound the electronic drums,
Signal the violin chords,
Get ready for that special guitar riff.
It’s time to save a life.
Since 2004, one band alone has been a savior.
They have altered the path of one girl along with many others.
This one girl’s story is just one of many I’m sure.
This one electronic wonder is a great force in the world of today.
Bringing myths to life and light,
Touching the heart of millions of souls,
Challenging what most think is “normal”.
Above all though, they are saving lives.
One girl in particular especially,
She can’t imagine a world without the band that saved her soul.
Their electronic drum is her heart.

This is the poem i wrote one day in a college class i'm taking when i was supposed to have been doing school work. The people that are close to me and know my story with the band being described in the poem above.
