Do the lilies cry your name?
They did the day my world stopped turning.
The fields where we used to lay,
Now overgrown and you won't be returning.
I now cry myself to sleep.
My world now holds no laughter.
The winters here so bleak.
Going on without you is one big disaster.
Can't seem to get up out of bed.
The scent you left still on your pillow.
No heat left in this quilt though.
The night means faceless shadows I see.
I'm awake and here I just lie
thinking of your face so sweet.
Remembering quick flashes in time
now the sands run out and the hourglass broke.
Do you still love me where you are?...
Author notes
This is just a sad poem I wrote. I feel sorrow for anyone who has lost someone they love and it's hard to get through just one day. Living and being brave enough to go on is truly heroic.
Please tell me what you think

Great
I liked you poem...it shows your hurt...though it could be more descriptive but overall its pretty good. -
it's good actually..
Except the fact that you ruined the rhymes in the last two stanzas.. Now that's a shame.. Because it was flowing quite good ..
