Thriving

A burning rose
--Hidden away;
Two hearts
--Unable
to be truly
set free

Take me along bridges
during the midst
of a winter storm
and hold me close
while the whispering words
of our undying love
fill your mouth
escape from your tongue
and roll themselves into my heart

Pick the simplist rose
and speak of its
undeniable beauty
and as you look into my eyes
relate the flower
to me
and slowly
ever so slowly
kiss me underneath the moonlight

Tie a bandana
around my eyes
and lead me into a room
lit only by candlelight
sit me on a bed
and run your hands up
my legs
and as our lips meet
let your heart
and not your mind
take control

Simply show what you feel
for I long for every
molecule of passion
you have lurking inside
your heart
which you have relased to me

Your touch
I dream about every night
It makes me weak
makes me thrive
for something
I am unable to contain
at this moment
in our love

My love
come make me weaker
and releave me of this thrive
fulfill me with what I long for
what I dream for
what I need

Fill me with the burning passion
that you hold inside of you
Make your thoughts
your feelings
your desires
collide with mine
Feel what I feel
Say what I think

My love
I sit here
(and I shall
for as long as I need)
thriving
for
you...♥

Very good poem. Not usually one who cares much for rhyme, but it worked for you. I enjoyed this, although it's not quite what I want for this contest... could you do me a favor? Take it further, another entry if you would, and tempt the senses. Find your soul in abstract bliss... You've got me curious.

    Much love,
    Jessica
