Come Spring

Come spring, and with your verdant greens,
Push back the grey blue of winter;
The short lived reds and golds of
fall.

Come spring astride your pollen laden breezes.
Come, and with your passage, warm the once
bleak
winter morns.

Come spring, to my bed adjourn,
where cool breezes kiss naked flesh and
turn it all to goosebumps.
Come spring, and tempt me with dew laden
cherry blossoms
and places neglected in the cold.

Come spring, and with it, promises of so much more.
When flowers have blossomed and the night
wears a heady crown.

Come spring and gold dappled streets bathed in
sun showers. Come spring rains and drum
your special cadence
drum away winter’s wear from
hard exteriors.
Old discarded things,
caught,
they twirl in eddies
and pool in hidden places.

Come spring and the way familiar streets are painted in a
Bright
New palette. Come spring and the way music’s sound changes
and the morning’s come easier.

Come spring and smiling faces,
Hands held in hands,
And electricity that dances in every kiss.

Come spring,
And the changes you bring.

Please tell me what you think

Believe me Chris, this will be the first time I'll welcome spring and summer for the cold is affecting my bones and I have to have a knee replacement next month.
Spring is lovely when all the flowers are in bloom and a light breeze blows away the miseries of winter..
You have painted the scenes wonderfully my friend, a pleasure to read.
