Prayer for Sandra

There are no words to say
To give hope.  No comfort, no solace.
You don't know us, but we all feel your pain
So I pray that you will allow us
Into your hearts, let us share your pain
Feel the arms of love around you each day
Lord hold Sandra tightly
Help them smile again

Wow, this is a beautiful tribute to this little girl. I could tell immediately that it was a sensitive loss poem, so I had to look at the contest and see for myself what inspired this. Very sad...but it's great to see those such as yourself who are offering support. My favorite line was the "you don't know us, but we all feel your pain." Excellent thought...and very true.

  • This is just utterly beautiful, i love the gentleness, the simplicity is really efective, it has a very special quality

A simple and special piece here. It's as realistic and personal as can be. And from someone who obviously understands this mode of gray the remaining family lives in. I can only imagine.

Thank you so much for this. Lovely and real!
